Physicians with Radiology Alliance, a Nashville based practice under Radiology Partners work with nine TriStar Health System hospitals in Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky as well as Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, TN and many other treatment and outpatient imaging centers.

POSITION SUMMARY

Radiology Alliance is seeking a full-time fellowship-tra ined or widely experienced Body Imager to support our growing practice in Nashville, Tennessee.

Radiologists with a focus on Body Imaging in our practice provide direct support the hospitals, outpatient facilities, and oncology partners we serve.

The ideal candidate can expect a heavy concentration in dedicated body imaging from cross-sectiona l modalities. A desire to work in a collaborative environment with the local surgeons, pathologists and oncologists is required.

A candidate who is willing and able to perform or learn non-vascular procedures such as drainages, aspirations, and image guided biopsies is strongly preferred.

When not scheduled for a sub-specialize d body imaging shift, radiologists maintain proficiency with non-subspecial ty diagnostic imaging on general diagnostic shifts.


This opportunity can be a full-time, partnership or non-partnershi p track position. Availability up to 10 weekends strongly preferred and required for partnership track.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITI ES

Serves as a representative of the practice in the field of Body Imaging, joining various committees to share subject matter expertise.

General diagnostic imaging shifts available and assigned at the needs of the practice.

Required:

  • Able to read and interpret abdominal/pelv ic CT & MRI
  • Knowledge or willingness to become proficient in Hepatobiliary, Pancreatic, Renal/Adrenal, Retroperitonea l, and Gastro-intesti nal studies
  • Ability to conduct fluoroscopic procedures, and supervise contrast coverage at outpatient imaging centers Optional and strongly preferred:
  • Able to read and interpret Prostate MRI, PET/CT, and Nuclear Medicine studies
  • Able or willing to learn how to perform non-vascular interventional procedures such as drainages, aspirations, and image guided biopsies

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Fellows and residents welcome to apply
  • Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, Board certified and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
  • Board certified/elig ible by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology or Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology
  • A one-year post residency fellowship, or equivalent experience in Body Imaging is required to start the position
  • Licensed or have the ability to be licensed in the state of TN and KY
