This is a 32-bed unit that cares for Pediatric, Med Surge patients. The Unit Assistant which is also Certified Nursing Assistant will be responsible for assisting with unit/patient care needs under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Assures smooth operation of the nursing unit by performing necessary clerical duties.
Schedule: 7a-7p, 36 hours a week
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Current listing as a CNA with North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation in good standing.
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support for healthcare providers (AHA or American Red Cross).
- Medical Terminology preferred.
- Computer skills with knowledge of business software.
- Clerical experience preferred.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills.
