SOAR, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is currently seeking outdoor educators, GAP mentors, trip leaders, and those who are studying in related fields and/or have the drive and passion to work with neurodivergent youth for the 2024 summer season and also into the fall of 2024 at the Academy at SOAR and our GAP Year Program.

We welcome those passionate about youth engagement and adventure-based programs for life skill development. SOAR aims to empower neurodivergent youth through enjoyable travel-style programs that foster social, emotional, and physical skills and self-understanding.


We offer 10 to 17-day co-ed expeditions from bases in Balsam, NC, and Dubois, WY, as well as programs in the Florida Keys and California.

Our activities range from rock climbing, whitewater rafting, canoeing, backpacking, llama treks, and horseback riding to cultural and STEM experiences.
