The successful candidate will play a crucial role in executing high-caliber imaging procedures while prioritizing patient safety and delivering outstanding care.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct PET/CT and CT imaging operations following physician directives and departmental guidelines. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. Operate and maintain PET/CT and CT imaging apparatus, ensuring optimal performance and calibration. Prepare patients for imaging sessions by clearly explaining procedures and addressing any inquiries. Accurately position patients and utilize appropriate imaging techniques to achieve the best possible outcomes. Review and assess images for quality and precision. Maintain comprehensive patient records and documentation. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to facilitate accurate diagnoses and enhance patient care. Comply with all safety protocols, radiation safety regulations, and infection control measures. Engage in ongoing education and professional development to remain updated on advancements in imaging technologies and methodologies.Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related discipline. ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT. State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist. A minimum of 2 years of experience in PET/CT and CT imaging. In-depth knowledge of PET/CT and CT imaging procedures, protocols, and safety standards. Exceptional patient care and communication abilities. Capability to thrive in a dynamic work environment. Strong attention to detail and proficiency in image quality analysis.
