Academic medical center in the Bronx seeking Gastroenterologist.
Competitive compensation plan with hospital-employed benefits package.
Job Function :
- Large teaching hospital in NYC with medical students, residents and a shared fellowship program
- Department consists of 2 full time physicians (division director and one mid-career attending)
- Clinical component includes outpatient office, endoscopy time and hospital consults
- Call schedule shared for consults between three physicians
- No late evenings or weekend hours in the office, only if on call would come in for emergencies
- Rich clinical exposure - ERCP and EUS not required (these typically transferred out to Montefiore)
- Newly acquired FUJI system, top of the line endoscopy equipment
