Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust software applications using Angular JS Spring Boot Java JavaScript SQL MySQL and AWS
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design develop and implement new features and enhancements
  • Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications by conducting thorough testing and debugging
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share best practices with the team
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements ensuring that solutions meet business needs
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development and deployment process
  • Monitor and optimize application performance identifying and resolving bottlenecks and issues
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends incorporating them into the development process as appropriate
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation including design specifications user guides and release notes
  • Collaborate with the QA team to ensure that applications meet quality standards and are delivered on time
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for production issues ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to users
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the development process

Qualifications

  • Possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
  • Have 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in software development with a strong focus on Angular JS Spring Boot Java JavaScript SQL MySQL and AWS
  • Demonstrate expertise in the Payer domain with a deep understanding of industry-specific requirements and challenges
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Show excellent communication and collaboration

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 8/25/2024

The annual salary for this position is between $81, 337 to 141,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
