Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC, Pittsburgh's premier professional soccer team since 1999, competes in the United Soccer League, one of North America's largest and fastest-growing professional soccer organizations. We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our Hounds Hype Squad for the current season. As a member of the Hounds Hype Squad, you will be responsible for overseeing promotional events and activations and creating a lively and engaging atmosphere for our fans.

Duties & Responsibilities

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Collaborating with the Marketing and Events team to plan and execute promotional events and activations to build excitement around the team
• Setting up promotional events and activations, including materials and equipment, and managing logistics and schedules during events
• Attending community events, festivals, and other gatherings to promote the team and engage with potential fans as the face of our organization
• Fostering relationships with local businesses and organizations to expand our reach and promote the team
• Gathering picture and video content at events for use by the marketing team and on social media
• Selling tickets at events to meet determined revenue goals
• Be available for Riverhounds home games
• Comfortable in front of large, live crowds
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience in event planning, promotions, or related fields preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Enthusiasm for the Pittsburgh Riverhounds Soccer Club
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to use a camera and effectively capture pictures and videos at events
• Fun, energetic, and responsible personality that enjoys interacting with fans
