Banquet Supervisor

About the Position: We are looking for individuals who have a passion for serving others As a Banquet Captain at The Oread Hotel, you will play a crucial role in the success of our events, which provide great exposure for our venue through receptions, meetings, trainings, and reunions. Our goal is to create memorable experiences that generate positive word-of-mouth and additional business. Achieving this requires a dedicated team focused on quality, service delivery, and timeliness.

Responsibilities:

Supervise Banquet staff to ensure exceptional guest service.
Coordinate food and beverage service with the Banquet Manager.
Lead the team with motivation and direction, ensuring all standards of quality are met.
Greet guests and accommodate all their needs during events.
Communicate effectively with guests regarding menu questions.
Deliver food and beverages from staging areas to guests, assisting the team as needed.
Assist other servers during peak periods with food delivery and guest requests.
Train others on serving plated and reception-style meal services (training provided).
Anticipate guest needs and monitor the dining experience to ensure satisfaction.
Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
Oversee setup, execution, and clean-up for events.
Perform side work to prepare for upcoming events.
Ensure all service areas are kept clean and safe.
Maintain a professional and personable appearance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
