About Our Client

Looking for an HR Generalist for a growing manufacturing company in Washington County NY. This person will be responsible for workday onboarding, administration of policies, contract and grievance administration, and all activities that affect positive, plant-wide employee relations. 5 days a week onsite, $65k-$75k.

Job Description

Employee Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, attendance, and performance data.Recruitment Support: Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparation of new hire paperwork, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring smooth integration into the company.Payroll Administration: Assist in processing payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of employee payments and maintaining payroll records.Benefits Administration: Coordinate employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies, and assist employees with benefits-related inquiries.Compliance and Policy Enforcement: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Assist in developing and enforcing HR policies and procedures.Employee Relations: Support employee relations activities, including addressing employee concerns, assisting in conflict resolution, and promoting a positive workplace culture.Training and Development: Assist in organizing and coordinating training sessions and development programs for employees.HR Reporting: Prepare and maintain HR-related reports and metrics, providing insights to management as needed.

2+ years of HR experience

Experience in manufacturing preferred.
