Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead a diverse team to develop and implement cutting-edge solutions for provider organizations, focusing on risk management, reporting, and utilization management
  • Provide advisory services to both internal and external clients on value-based care, growth strategies, network management, and service line optimization
  • Take the lead on delivering large-scale projects/products, offering guidance and expertise to ensure successful outcomes
  • Drive business development efforts, including developing proposals, leading RFI/RFP processes, and expanding client relationships
  • Foster a collaborative work environment that promotes professional growth, innovation, and excellence in service delivery
  • Mentor junior consultants and analysts to support their career development and retention within the organization
  • Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, including marketing and sales activities, to position our firm as a leader in healthcare consulting
  • Identify and develop consulting offerings that address market needs and client priorities

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry as an actuary
  • Demonstrated project leadership/management experience, with at least 5 years of team management experience
  • Fellow or Associate of the Society of Actuaries designation
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with some knowledge of SAS or SQL
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with various data sources, including proprietary and public datasets
  • Experience working with healthcare providers, including health systems and physicians
  • Background in financial modeling of value-based care contracts
  • Previous involvement in business development for consulting/advisory services
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
