About our team:
Tufts Medical Center is a not-for-profit, 415-bed academic medical center located in downtown Boston. The Medical Center is the principal teaching hospital for Tufts University School of Medicine. A successful candidate will also develop a vision for expanding thoracic surgical services across our health system, Tufts Medicine.
Our thoracic surgery division provides state-of-the-art surgical care using a multidisciplinary approach.. We have a strong tradition for providing superb care for a full spectrum of thoracic and esophageal diseases including a very successful robotic minimally invasive program The division also works closely with a multi-disciplinary team of oncologists, interventional pulmonologists, radiation oncologists, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists to createtreatment plans individualized to the unique needs of each patient.
A successful candidate will have a national reputation for leadership, clinical, teaching, and research excellence. Candidates should have attained or be eligible for promotion to Associate Professor.
