Position Description

Vice President, M&A Integration and Business Transformation will be responsible for ownership and leadership of all cross-functional integration workstreams resulting from CSI's acquisitions. This position will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing initiatives across Finance, HR, IT, Sales, Technology, Marketing, Implementation, Customer Experience, and Product. This position requires a candidate with outstanding interpersonal skills and strong technical aptitude, who is comfortable communicating and evangelizing with C-Level executives and Board of Directors. Enthusiastic, disciplined, organized, and self-motivated, the ideal candidate is a team player who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment. A successful candidate will also enjoy solving complex business problems for which there is often no playbook. While the primary focus of this role will be the successful integration of CSI acquisitions, this position will also play a key role in shaping CSI's internal technology and personnel-related best practices long term. This position reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience
  • Some M&A integration experience required; leading M&A integration experience preferred
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Operational experience, preferably with technology companies
  • Experience and understanding of business processes across multiple functions, including Finance, HR, and IT
  • Experience with implementation of various internal information systems, including CRM, ERP, and HRIS
  • Expert user of Microsoft Office Suite and sound presentation (Powerpoint) skills
  • Expert user of Smartsheets
  • Time management skills, not only managing multiple projects at a time but more importantly making the most of other integration team leaders' time who have other "day jobs"
  • Project Management skills

Job Functions

  • Participate in acquisition due diligence with an eye towards developing the integration plan
  • Assist SVP of Corporate Development in integration planning and assist CSI leadership team with related decision making
  • Provide CSI ELT and CSI Board of Directors with regular, formal updates on the effectiveness of integration efforts
  • Become a subject matter expert of CSI systems, processes, and products
  • Oversee the integration of various software systems, platforms, or databases, ensuring data integrity, compatibility, and functionality across integrated systems.
  • Own, manage, and execute all workstreams in the integration plan across all functions
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across business units to understand integration needs and gather requirements to drive desired results of the integration plan strategy.
  • Frequently generate content including integration playbooks, executive updates, deal-related cheat sheets, employee comms, and other user-friendly collateral for use in current and future integrations
  • Wear multiple hats and be able to adapt to role's responsibilities both large and small
  1. Assist and direct functional leaders with large initiatives
  2. Complete small tasks yourself

RELATIONSHIP BUILDING

This position requires contact primarily within the department and contact within the company on routine matters. Contact outside the company is minimal.

DECISION MAKING

The position requires the use of judgment to plan and perform; general decisions are made to solve a problem or select a course of action for a standard or recognized method of operation.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED

Full Direction. Participates in determining objectives and approach to assignments. Plans, schedules, and arranges own activity. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
