Summary

This position is located in the Area Office of Montpelier, Vermont or in Concord, New Hampshire in USDA/Rural Development (RD). The incumbent has responsibility for establishing, marketing, managing and servicing loans and grants for community facilities, public utilities, and/or businesses.



Duties
  • Performs comprehensive review and in-depth analyses of financial credit data documents germane to the loan application eligibility, feasibility, creditworthiness and viability within assigned loan portfolio(s).
  • Prepares written loan approval determinations or recommendations for loan approval and submits to approving official as appropriate.
  • Conducts field site visits to determine a project's conformance with loan requirements; monitors civil rights compliance; evaluates/mitigates and/or prepares environmental assessments; reviews key data to ensure multiyear forecasts are realistic.
  • Develops, implements and coordinates a broad and aggressive outreach and marketing program for assigned loan portfolio(s).
