Junior Signal Processing Engineer

Leidos is currently seeking a Junior Signal Processing Engineer to join our team in supporting Electronic Warfare programs. As part of the team, you will work on enhancing sensors and signals in complex environments to advance research and applications in EW programs. Collaborating with experts in the field, you will have the opportunity to grow your knowledge and career.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, model, and test algorithms using Matlab, Simulink, or C++
  • Analyze results from simulations or real data to identify trends
  • Plan and execute engineering research and design development
  • Participate in testing and technical assignments

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Minimum active SECRET clearance, with ability to obtain TS/SCI
  • Experience with MATLAB, Linux, Mathematica, Python, Simulink, C++, Java, etc.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in relevant field
  • Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
  • Knowledge in digital filtering, spectral estimation, detection and estimation theory, etc.
  • Experience in radar signal processing and modeling and simulation
