Residential Treatment Therapist / Care Manager

Fil Staffing is looking for a Residential Treatment Therapist / Care Manager to work Onsite in San Francisco.
Summary:
Fil Staffing is working with a client nonprofit in San Francisco that aims to provide families in the bay area to live with understanding, confidence, straight, and joy. The mission is to be the place to begin for children, youth and families who need mental health, social services and academic support.
Responsibilities:
Residential Treatment Therapist/Care Managers provide intensive strategies to address any current need for stabilization, crisis intervention and individual, family and group trauma-focused treatment. Therapist/Care Managers must have strong clinical and advocacy skills, demonstrate flexibility, utilize a strengths-based approach, and have experience working with children and adolescents with high mental health needs.
Therapist/Care Managers work as an integral member of multi-disciplinary milieu team that addresses the child or youth's educational, behavioral and mental health needs. The Therapist/Care Manager adheres to all agency and EPSDT billing and documentation requirements and works with the Clinical Supervisor (or Clinical Leadership Team) to identify policies, procedures, and training needs.
Maintains a caseload of clients that facilitates ability to meet client service hours' goal as set by the agency.Provides clinical presence and support in Residential cottage.Provides mental health screening to assess cognitive, emotional, and social functioning and needs; facilitates the identification and engagement in mental health services such as individual, family, and group therapy.Provides crisis intervention and stabilization when appropriate.Coordinates services with other agencies and resources to address youth's needs including medical/physical health, mental health, education, employment, independent living skills, advocacy, placement stability, and age-appropriate enrichment activities.Assists youth in identifying and accessing community resources as needed.Works collaboratively on behalf of clients as needed with outpatient providers, school personnel, parents and caregivers, and others.Complies with California State Boards' requirements pertaining to supervision, consultation, and case conference attendance.Understands and complies with policies, procedures, and deadlines related to record keeping, paperwork, and documentation and EPSDT Medi-Cal billing purposesParticipates in agency and program meetings and professional development trainings as required.Works proactively with the Clinical Supervisor (or Clinical Leadership Team) to ensure the strength of the program and attend to other tasks as needed.Job Requirements:Advanced degree (Master's or Doctorate) in clinical psychology, social work or related field required.
