Your Role

In this multi-craft role, the Maintenance Technician will perform a wide variety of work to ensure that the distribution center equipment and facilities are maintained and in a safe and effective working condition. This position is multi-faceted with skilled and semi-skilled maintenance responsibilities including material handling equipment troubleshooting and repair and more basic maintenance such as electrical, plumbing , drywall , and painting. While Maintenance Technicians may have developed skills in one or more areas, all are expected to perform general facilities and repair.

Your Impact
  • Performs skilled and semi-skilled maintenance activities including performing material handling equipment troubleshooting and repair; basic activities such as electrical, plumbing, drywall and painting; office furniture moves and setups.
  • Maintains building, equipment, shop and storage areas in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Completes work orders for work performed and includes parts and inventory used.
  • Document all work order activities to comply with CMMS requirements, providing documented records of the activities performed .
Your Experience
  • Possession of a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
  • Minimum of 3 years of facilities and/or maintenance experience such as forklifts, conveyors, controls, hydraulics, pneumatics and building maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Driver s License
  • Electrical experience with high and low voltage, AC and DC.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Proven track record of strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Effectiveness in working within a team/matrix organization
  • Flexibility with work assignment and schedules based on business requirements which may result in overtime.
