Coverage Needed: Minimum 5 shifts per month. Prefer 2 weeks a month
Shift & Call Info:
- Monday-Friday, 7am4pm (6:30 am arrival, if block is needed)
- Weekend Call: Friday, Saturday, Sunday; 24 hr call; 8 am8 am. 3 providers, including CV, General, and OB, are on call each weekend.
Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
Job Details:
- 9 Anesthesiologists and 2 CRNAs
- 40% cardiac cases, 60% general
- The hospital runs 811 OR rooms daily for 78 blocks, depending on the types of surgery blocks scheduled and procedure volume
- Required: Blocks, Peds, OB, Epidurals, Heads, Hearts
- Case Mix: Cardiac Surgery, Neuro, GS, Plastic, Pulmonary, Ortho, Spine, GYN, Uro, OB, Cath Lab, IR, EP and GI.
- A physician performs 90% of cases and completes all cardiac cases. When working with CRNAs, the MD might be working with 12, but that would only occur if the MD is in charge for the day.
- EMR: EPIC
- Must have an active WI license or active IMLC
- Must be boardcertified
- All travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered
