Park Ranger

This position is located in Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park, in the Visitor and Resource Protection Division.

Open to the first 100 applicants or until 05/06/2024 whichever comes first. All applications submitted by 11:59 (EST) on the closing day will receive consideration.

As a Park Ranger, you will perform the following duties:

• Provides assistance to visitors regarding lost articles, car trouble, and first aid.
• Provides information to visitors about weather conditions, highway routes, park and concessioner facilities.
• Provides public orientation and explanations of current park events.
• Answers visitor questions concerning specific park areas.
• Monitors and reports on the condition of the resources of the park.
• Participates in the development of reports, gathering/collecting routine information, database management, and other administrative tasks.
• Patrols park boundaries.
• Performs needed maintenance to include posting signs and repairing or building fences.
