HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO OUR TEAM(Overview & Key Responsibilities):
The Warehouse Support Specialist role is to work directly with the Operations Manager to gather data, create reports, assist with daily warehouse transactions to help maintain and improve the overall functionality of the warehouse.
- Process daily work orders
- Process customer orders to ship via common carrier
- Daily cycle count reconciliation
- Investigate inventory inaccuracy
- Create/track performance metrics
- Assist in continuous improvement of ERP system
- Assist with billing and load reconciliation
- Investigate orders that do not process correctly and correct the process
- Assist in continuous improvement of warehouse business processes
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience and/or Training:
- Forklift experience.
- Familiarity with basic research methods and reporting techniques
Technology/Equipment:
- Inventory Management System (JDE).
- Computer Software experience using Microsoft Office, including Access, Excel, and Word and understanding of WMS.
