The City of Loma Linda is a scenic community located within eyesight of the towering peaks of the San Bernardino and San Jacinto Mountains.

Loma Linda is located approximately 60 miles east of Los Angeles in San Bernardino County.

While it is near the highly developed job market of Los Angeles and Orange Counties, it does provide a small town setting for your home, work or recreation.

Adjacent to California's Interstate 10 freeway, Loma Linda is freeway close to beaches, mountains and desert resorts.

Pay:
Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)

Retirement:
Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA

Insurance:
Federal health/vision/dental/term life/long-term care (many federal insurance programs can be carried into retirement)
Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory

CME:
Possible $1,000 per year reimbursement (must be full-time with board certification)

Malpractice:
Free liability protection with tail coverage provided

Contract:
No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting

The duties include but are not limited to:
Provide all services required in the practice of Neurology in the context of the VA system and his/her clinical privileges
Provide appropriate documentation in the electronic record
See patients in the outpatient general neurology consult and follow-up clinics
Outpatient clinics will consist of both in-person and virtual clinics
See inpatient neurology consults
Take calls from the ED as needed
Responsible for the oversight of all aspects of neurological care delivered to their assigned patients
Perform neurologic procedures, like NCS/EMG, EEG interpretation, and/or botox administration, commensurate to his/her individual training and expertise, in accordance with local VA credentialing and privileging requirements
Supervise and teach neurology residents and medical students during their Neurology rotation

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
