Are you interested in a great first job, or want to work in a banquet serving food for weddings and events? Skamania Lodge is seeking part-time or full-time banquet servers.


Your role:

  • Follow banquet event orders to set up and serve events.
  • Service to include picking up food from the back hall, carrying trays to the location of the event and serving food to guests, and clearing tables.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests and removes dishes and other food-related items from tables/countertops and take them to the kitchen.
  • Ensures tables are cleaned and sanitized after each event.
  • Follows event schedule and ensures that events are correctly set with proper items.
  • Break down to include bussing tables, putting away dirty linen and centerpieces, and vacuuming.

  • Set up for AM or PM break stations that include coffee, tea, snacks, beverages, etc.
  • Assist with event room setup according to meal period and table needs.
  • Performs food & beverage preparation duties such as preparing condiments, brewing coffee, and ensuring workstations are stocked.

Qualifications:

  • WA Food handlers' card within 14 days of hire.
  • WA MAST Card
  • Customer service skills.
  • Positive attitude and great team player.

Schedule:
Seasonal, Part-Time or On-Call

This is a 24-7, 365 day a year business that will require some work during nights, weekends and holidays.

Must have a flexible schedule that can move between shifts and days as needed to provide best coverage for managing events and banquet team.


Compensation:
$17.00 an hour


This position will be part of a shared tip pool that can increase the wage up to $4.00 an hour above the minimum wage base rate of pay of $16.
