As an IT Specialist (INFOSEC), you will perform the following duties:


Serve as a Senior Information Technology (IT) Specialist and design, develop, implement, and secure new capabilities for emerging requirements to support mission critical needs, and to increase the capabilities, efficiency, and accuracy of mission-related products and services.

Perform advanced analysis of functional and technical requirements of proposed or existing IT systems to determine avenues of development or modification.

Prepare system specifications and specify programming instructions, inputs and outputs, structures, and other analytical products to document the functional and technical requirements.

Identify and recommend alternative approaches to the design of current or proposed systems.

Design and develop efficient and effective applications and ensures applications are consistent with the current and planned infrastructure and data environments.

As a technical expert work with other IT specialists, project managers and functional users to ensure software quality, security, and efficiency.

Lead software development teams to build high quality, innovative, efficient, effective, and secure digital products. Provide expert technical guidance, coordinating work processes and requirements with contractor personnel.

Design and develop efficient and effective applications and ensure applications are consistent with the current and planned infrastructure and data environments.

Prepare and execute tests for software validation. Review test results for effectiveness in meeting specifications.

As a technical expert, work with other IT specialists, project managers and functional users to ensure software quality, security, and efficiency.

Correct actions based on testing results and collaborative efforts. Perform periodic and emergency software code security scans and acknowledge, perform, verify, complete verification scans and report compliance. Integrate data and information security into the organizational adoption and improvement of agile practices. Support DevSecOps practices, build/release management and secure coding.
