Are you a skilled and experienced mechanic with a passion for agricultural and heavy equipment? gpac has an exciting opportunity for you at a well respected equipment dealership in search of both field and shop technicians near you

Position: Agricultural and/or Heavy Equipment Mechanic/ Management Position

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a mechanic working on agricultural and/or heavy equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues accurately.
  • Proficient in performing preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of agricultural and heavy machinery.
  • Experience with leading brands such as John Deere, Caterpillar, and Case is a plus.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • CDL is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on agricultural and heavy equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
  • Perform inspections to identify potential problems and ensure equipment is in optimal condition.
  • Collaborate with the team to complete tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
  • Stay informed about advancements in equipment technology through ongoing training.
