About the Position: Serves as an Ammunition Supply Specialist, U.S. Army Sustainment Command, Logistics Readiness Center, Supply and Services Division, Redstone Arsenal, AL.



Duties
  • Receive, issue and ship all types of ammunition and input data into Standard Army Ammunition System - Modernization (SAAS-MOD).
  • Performs review and management of property accountability records and document register files.
  • Responsible for providing staff direction and technical guidance to one or more elements of the command and supported customers in ammunition supply management involving ammunition authorization, acquisition, and accountability; inventory management.
  • Performs review and management of all property inventory requirements in-accordance with regulation.
  • Research and analysis using supply background knowledge to determine appropriate nomenclature and federal supply classification form established indexes of item names and the application of the federal catalog system.
