CLO Virtual Fashion is a world leader in 3D garment technology, demonstrated in our flagship products CLO ) and Marvelous Designer ). The company leads the market by digitally merging, consolidating, and converging all components related to digital garments.
We are currently seeking innovative researchers in computational geometry to join our R&D team. You will contribute to the advancement of geometric algorithms, data structures, and computational techniques. Your expertise will be crucial in solving complex problems in geometric modeling, cloth simulation, animation, and fashion design. The ideal candidate will have a strong research background, a passion for pushing the limits of computational geometry, and an impressive ability to collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct cutting-edge research in computational geometry, geometric modeling, differential geometry, geometric graph theory, and computer-aided design.
- Investigate and solve complex geometric problems, such as mesh generation, shape analysis, geometric optimization, and proximity detection.
- Explore geometric techniques and numerical methods to address the computational challenges in the modeling, simulation, and rendering of avatars and digital cloth.
- Interface with engineers, developers, and 3D designers to translate research findings into actionable advancements of our products and projects. Mentor interns and research assistants working on computational geometry projects.
- Collaborate with external academic groups to advance our research goals.
Requirements
- Graduate degree in Computer Graphics, Mathematics, or a related field, with a strong focus on computational geometry.
- Deep understanding of computational geometry algorithms and data structures.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with a solid foundation in discrete math.
- 3+ years of experience with computational geometry libraries, such as CGAL.3+ years of experience working in a research environment.
- 3+ years of experience with C++, source control, and continuous integration.
- Excellent communicator and team player.

- Proven track record of achieving significant results, as demonstrated by grants, fellowships, patents, as well as publications at conferences or journals, such as SIGGRAPH, CAGD, and JoCG.
- Strong proficiency in GPU programming, such as CUDA and Metal.
- Positive mindset, are self-motivated, and takes initiative.
- Experience with fashion, pattern design, or textiles.
