Summary

The Northern Arizona Veterans Affairs Health Care System (located in Prescott, AZ) is recruiting for a Transportation Assistant. This position reports directly to the Mobility Manager. The incumbent acts as the primary contact to the Veterans for transportation needs.



Duties

Major duties include, but not limited to:

  • Performs work involving consult management, appointment scheduling, and admissions scheduling.
  • Collects, compiles, and tracks data and statistical information in support of Veterans Transportation Service (VTS).
  • Performs a basic analysis of the data and generates a variety of reports.
  • Evaluates documents (e.g. sampling plans, permit applications, and other data collection forms).
  • Enters pertinent information into an automated tracking system.
  • Interacts with various other transportation services and other transportation providers.
  • Coordinates service practices that decrease waits and delays for patients in all specialty areas.
  • Plans for, organizes, administers, and directs how the work will be accomplished for the VTS program.
  • Performs other duties, as assigned by the Service Chief.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 07:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M
