Completes field and office activities related to the management, monitoring, restoration, and/or conservation of a wide variety of marine and terrestrial natural resources, utilizing SCUBA and snorkel/free-diving when appropriate.

Assists with ecological restoration and conservation projects in coral reef, seagrass, island, and/or coastal forest habitat to improve resource conditions following disturbances from storms, marine heatwaves, vessel groundings, marine debris, diseases, etc.

Restoration and conservation projects may include marine debris removal, coral reef stabilization, coral population enhancement, coral disease intervention, invasive species management, seagrass habitat restoration, removal of exotic plants and animals, and/or planting native vegetation.

Prepares, installs and maintains mooring buoys and aids to navigation.
