General Description / Purpose:

The Sales Analyst is responsible for generating aftermarket sales quotations, maintaining catalog prices and related data for all external and intercompany OEM customers, and maintaining the integrity of sales master data.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Customer Interactions/Support

  • Serve as key point of contact to internal and external customers for OEM part sales from inquiry to order entry.
  • Generate part quotations for new bids and contracts and for existing customer RFQs. Generate annual price lists for OEM customers and distribute to customers and/or publish to the customer portal.
  • Enter customer POs as orders in the ERP system and ensure customer POs match the agreed upon contract prices and lead times and request revised POs from customers in the event of any data discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with Service Parts Manager and Service Parts Specialist to commercialize and package upgrade and overhaul kits (warranty parts, overhaul parts, annual maintenance parts).
  • Create internal and external communications such as engineering service bulletins, announcements, renewal letters, customer portal login information, and customer complaint follow-up.

Functional & Technical Skills

  • Work with Service Parts Manager and Parts Service Specialist to maintain the pricing and other sales data in the electronic parts catalogs, manuals, and other applicable documentation in the customer portal.
  • Create new Sales Parts and Base Price records for new Engineering released part numbers and add Sales Parts to the applicable Price Lists and Customer Agreements.
  • Maintain sales master data in the company ERP system including Sales Part and Base Price records and Customer-specific data. Maintain the integrity of all Sales master data in alignment with company policies.
  • Input all relevant dates and metadata required to track the performance and lead time of Customer Quotations and Orders. Make recommendations to automate manual tasks and improve response time.
  • Monitor engineering change orders to identify any obsolete part numbers that require updates to customer part catalogs. Add and modify part numbers in customer part catalogs to reflect the latest revision or part number(s).
  • Request missing data required for quotations from Procurement, Materials Management and/or Logistics including but not limited to cost, lead time, commodity codes, and import data.
