Responsible for the preparation of budget, preliminary, and final estimates for a variety of highly complex, unique, and state-of-the-art engineering projects.
Review estimates prepared by Architect-Engineer Contractors for accuracy and completeness and determines necessary changes or corrections.Compile and analyze data from field investigations then recommends, as a result of the study, the most economical methods relative to type and method of construction.
Determine deficiencies pertaining to cost estimates and initiates or recommends the necessary corrections.Prepare budget and financial estimates, as required, for the procurement and installation of Government Furnished Equipment.
