Then you are the intern we are looking for at our Rijk Zwaan USA Research Farm located in Gonzales, California.

The vacancy for our Research Farm Assistant Intern at Rijk Zwaan USAAs intern Research Farm Assistant, you will work in collaboration with our Farm Manager and Farm Team in a variety of tasks including but not limited to:
General seed research activities, involving setting up and maintaining large general value trials.
Mapping out, measuring, staking, cleaning, evaluating, cutting, transplanting and providing feedback on all trials.
Tractor driving, managing irrigation, spraying/hoeing weeds, and miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Farm Manager.

The Ideal candidate has an interest in working on an active research farm, and able to collaborate with the team in all aspects of research and development.

In addition, the ideal candidate will have the following:
Pursuing a university or college degree, preferably in the area of agriculture or similar fieldAvailability for 3 months, 30+ hours a weekPeriod starts May through August each year with some date flexibility depending on school schedule Salary:
$21 per hour
