Duties:

  • Implement treatment plans developed by Occupational Therapists
  • Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities
  • Provide support in teaching patients how to use adaptive equipment
  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the therapy team
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Skills:

  • Strong anatomy and physiology knowledge
  • Experience in occupational health settings
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Ability to work with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and individuals in acute care
  • Proficiency in assisting therapists in outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation programs
