Position Summary:

Receiving Teams play a crucial role in providing a seamless guest experience by ensuring efficient handling of merchandise, from receiving to delivery and organization within the store premises.

Team members contribute significantly to inventory control, which includes placing items correctly, conducting audits, and maintaining accurate records.

Additionally, the team is expected to embody the company's overarching goal of Delivering Value to Live Better and uphold its core values in their actions and interactions.

Duties and Responsibilities for assigned areas:
  • Ensure a positive guest experience by effectively back stocking products for easy retrieval and customer assistance
  • Manage inventory control processes
  • Handle all incoming deliveries efficiently
  • Keep the work environment clean while ensuring merchandise is allocated to the right departments
  • Accurately complete documentation for shipments and supply trucks
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of merchandise across all departments
  • Facilitate merchandise transfers to different locations as needed
  • Collect and organize hangers and hard tags from the register area
  • Stay vigilant in maintaining a high level of awareness for Loss Prevention issues

SCHEDULE: Work hours are subject to trucking and delivery schedules.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This role involves physical demands that include walking, standing, crouching, stooping, reaching, and lifting cases and fixtures weighing up to 30 lbs throughout the shift.

Outdoor work is also required for a significant duration, involving loading and unloading tasks. The role includes using electronic devices such as hand-held scanners and office hardware, with specific vision requirements like close vision and the ability to read price tags.
