Head Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach

Groton School is seeking a head girls varsity volleyball coach to work approximately 20 hours per week during the fall season (from the opening of the school year through Thanksgiving break). The hours will vary based on practice and meet times. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate enthusiasm for coaching and who have the capacity to work with adolescent volleyball players of all abilities.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Supervising practices, matches (both home and away), and all other team functions
  • Teaching proper technique and handling match preparation
  • Collaborating and communicating with co-workers and, when needed, working in conjunction with other departments
  • Two or more years experience coaching volleyball
  • Excellent knowledge of and ability to communicate volleyball fundamentals
  • CPR certification (which can be obtained after hire)
  • A valid driver's license
