Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)
As a part of the Patient Care Services Team at DMC, the Registered Nurse plays a critical role in ensuring optimal nursing care delivery. This position involves managing and providing care to patients and their families by exercising independent judgment and fostering communication and collaboration among all team members. At DMC, our Registered Nurses exhibit leadership, partnership, collaboration, teaching, and supervision in their daily responsibilities.
The DMC RN:
- Establishes and maintains strong relationships with physicians and healthcare providers
- Delegates, assesses, provides, and evaluates patient care
- Monitors patient progress and readies them for discharge
- Reports to senior unit management and engages in shared decision-making activities
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from a school of nursing
- BSN preferred
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Michigan
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
