Automation Technician

Description:

Responsible for both mechanical and electrical maintenance, primarily focusing on the controls side of automated equipment throughout the facility such as PLC troubleshooting & programming, working on 480V equipment, using Allen Bradley, Ladder Logix, and other network communications programs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years in maintenance or automation
• Electrical troubleshooting (single/three phase motors, wiring, ac power, ac motors, electric drawings/schematics, control panels)
• Mechanical troubleshooting (gearboxes, sprockets, chains, bearing, guide rollers, and other related equipment)
• Heavy PLC troubleshooting/programming experience
• Knowledge of automated equipment, experience with Allen-Bradley and RSLogix5000 PLC controls platforms
• Some experience with DeviceNet, PROFIBUS, Ethernet or equivalent network communications is a plus
• 480v equipment
