Windjammer Surf Bar in Westerly, RI is looking for one servers / waitstaff to join our strong summer team. We are located at 321 Atlantic Avenue. We are a very busy summer bar & restaurant located directly on the ocean featuring multiple bars, lunch & dinner, raw bar, live music and special events.
Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and hard-working.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting each guest in a timely manner with a smile
- Presenting the menu and helping customers select food
- Delivering food to tables
- Delivering a great customer experience
- Qualifications
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
- Able to multitask efficiently
- Strong organisational skills
- Experience as a Server in a high paced atmosphere
HIGHLY PREFERRED:
Strong knowledge of cocktails and alcoholic beverages

About WINDJAMMER SURF BAR: Located on the south shore of Rhode Island in Misquamicut, overlooking Block Island and the tip of Long Island, Atlantic Beach Park has been a charming landmark in this area dating back to 1921. It is still owned and operated by the Trefes family. The original name was "Atlantic Beach Casino", meaning a place to enjoy the beautiful surf, where, in days gone past, families and friends would sit in rocking chairs on the boardwalk, enjoying the sun and swimming in the warm waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Over 90 years later, Atlantic Beach Park remains a local Misquamicut summer tradition.
