The Vice President of Finance Primary Care is responsible for providing financial leadership for Pfizer's Primary Care Business.
Pfizer's Primary Care Business aims to bring innovations that not only improve patient care but also enhance the practices of hospitals we work with. This business unit includes the US commercial operations for Vaccines, Internal Medicine, Antivirals & Diagnostics, and Migraine portfolios.
As a key member of the Primary Care Leadership team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that financial targets are achieved. You will act as a strategic finance partner to the President of US Primary Care, offering financial guidance and contributing to important strategic and operational decisions.
Furthermore, successful performance in this role requires effective collaboration within a matrix organizational structure and the ability to cultivate strong business relationships. Collaboration is essential with Specialty Care, Oncology, International Developed Markets, Emerging Markets, Pfizer Global Supply, and other stakeholder groups such as Business Development, Controllers, Global Business Services, Decision Support Center of Excellence, Tax, Treasury, and Digital.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute the financial strategy to help Primary Care meet its commercial objectives.
- Collaborate proactively with the Primary Care organization to fulfill finance commitments, identify strategic growth drivers, and deliver value.
- Analyze and identify proactive actions to ensure that the business unit achieves its growth targets through optimal capital allocation.
- Provide guidance on go-to-market strategies to the President of US Primary Care and the Primary Care Leadership Team to enhance patient and physician engagement.
- Create annual Operating Plans and Forecasts aligned with Enterprise Targets.
- Collaborate with the Portfolio Management team and Pfizer Global Supply to assess portfolio initiatives and drive cost efficiencies.
- Partner with business leaders and development teams to evaluate and pursue business opportunities.
- Ensure alignment on processes, practices, and reporting across US businesses.
REQUIRED BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 20 years experience as a Finance Leader and Business partner in complex environments.
- Bachelor's degree in business or finance required; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of financial processes and controls.
- Previous experience in global management roles.
- Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to make decisions in complex situations and uncertainty.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced degree in business or finance.
- Previous experience at Pfizer in a finance role.

This role seeks a candidate with diverse leadership experiences, including the ability to influence peers, develop teams, oversee colleagues' work, and drive business impact.
The annual base salary range for this position is $239,300.00 to $398,000. In addition to base salary, eligible for Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 30.0%, and share-based long-term incentives.
