Our client is seeking an administrative/accounting professional to join their team as a Part-Time Admin and assist their busy office with a variety of clerical and accounting tasks. In this role, you will answer phone calls, process mail, maintain office supplies, and prepare meeting minutes.
Qualified candidates will have their associate's degree, 2 years of related experience and the ability to obtain government security and access clearances.

Part-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-12:00pm
Location
Hilo, Big Island
Pay
$17 an hour
Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls and relay messages.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail.
- Prepare weekly meeting agendas and minutes.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports.
- Maintain office supplies and order as needed.
- Print, file, scan, and copy documents.
- Perform data entry.
- Produce letters, correspondence, proposals, reports and other business forms.
- Assist with travel arrangements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and 2 years of related experience.
- Must be able to obtain government security and access clearances.
- Valid State of Hawaii driver's license preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and AR/AP principles.
- Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
