Part-Time Admin / Account Clerk #HILO_INDEED

Our client is seeking an administrative/accounting professional to join their team as a Part-Time Admin and assist their busy office with a variety of clerical and accounting tasks. In this role, you will answer phone calls, process mail, maintain office supplies, and prepare meeting minutes.

Qualified candidates will have their associate's degree, 2 years of related experience and the ability to obtain government security and access clearances.

Hours
Part-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-12:00pm

Location
Hilo, Big Island

Pay
$17 an hour

Responsibilities
  • Answer phone calls and relay messages.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Prepare weekly meeting agendas and minutes.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports.
  • Maintain office supplies and order as needed.
  • Print, file, scan, and copy documents.
  • Perform data entry.
  • Produce letters, correspondence, proposals, reports and other business forms.
  • Assist with travel arrangements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and 2 years of related experience.
  • Must be able to obtain government security and access clearances.
  • Valid State of Hawaii driver's license preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and AR/AP principles.
  • Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
