Provide supervision to other orthotists
Measure and fit patients with all types of custom made orthotic appliances.
Operate shop machines and hand tools required to perform fabrication, alteration and repair of orthotic appliances.
Coordinate interpretation of prescriptions with patients and physicians.
Ensure acceptable quality standards are maintained within the work area and that appliances produced meet required specifications.
Identify developmental and training needs of subordinate employees and provide needed training.
