Join Atlantic Health System's search for an Associate Program Director for Ambulatory Services to support the well-established Internal Medicine Residency Program at Overlook Medical Center. Located in Union, New Jersey, Overlook Medical Center is a leading and innovative medical center within the Atlantic Health System. This program offers training and education to 43 residents and is now seeking an individual to contribute to its continued growth.
The role of the Associate Program Director requires a balanced commitment between administrative responsibilities and clinical duties. Administratively, you will collaborate with the Program Director to develop, implement, and review all aspects of the Internal Medicine Training Curriculum. Your clinical duties will involve precepting residents in an ambulatory setting. This full-time position from Monday to Friday presents a great work/life balance with limited shared inpatient weekend/holiday call at Overlook Medical Center.
Qualifications
- BC by the American Board of Internal Medicine
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of New Jersey
- Minimum of 3 years precepting and evaluating medical students and/or residents
- Experience in an ambulatory setting is highly preferred
- Proven success in working independently and as part of a team
