Description:

To ensure that the ordering, inspection, care, and maintenance of plate inventory are appropriate for delivering quality plates to the mounting department. Maintaining inventory of all print sleeves and bridge carriers. To ensure that mounting and plate technologies and processes are appropriate for delivering quality mounts to press. In addition, participate in Pre-Production meetings, Pre-flighting, and Prepro schedule.

Pay: 22.36/HR

2nd Shift

Primary tasks and responsibilities:

 Reads and interprets specifications on job envelope

 Cleans and prepares plates and sleeves for mounting

 Mounts backing (sticky back) and on sleeve per instructions

 Wraps and label finished product

 Loads on cart to be taken to the press or to storage

 Inspects cylinders and gears for defects and reports to Shift Supervisor

 Demounts cylinders as necessary

 Maintains an organized, clean work area at all times
