Job Duties

Responsible for enhancing the end-to-end use of digital analytics as a part of Kerry's digital strategy.

Gathering and evaluating functional & technical requirements, writing functional specifications, coordinating onshore and offshore developers, test scenarios, and build prototypes for SAP (Systems, Applications and Products in Data Processing) based MII (Manufacturing Intelligence, Integration and Analytics) and MES (Manufacturing Execution System) Manufacturing projects, and conduct functional unit and integration testing of SAP MII & MES based middleware solutions.

Working with Engineering and ICT (Information Communication Technology) teams to define the Solution standards and Architecture requirements. Responsible for building a Proof-of-Concept Prototypes. Supporting deployment in pilot factories in all geographical zones. Managing the evolution of MII and shop floor automation in the Kerry ICT Systems Landscape. Identifying, building, testing, and implementing changes to current systems to ensure compliance, security, and improving performance and/or usability. Acting as the third level of support for MII & MES solutions, analyzing, and resolving incidents. Driving root cause analysis and implementation.
Requirements

This position requires a bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering Technologies, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering or a related field and five years of experience in/as Process Engineer, Data Engineer, Head of ICT, Director of ICT, Mechanical Engineering or related occupation.

Alternatively, the employer will accept seven years of work experience in/as Process Engineer, Data Engineer, Head of ICT, Director of ICT, Mechanical Engineering, or related occupation.

Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with: 1.

Knowledge of End to End Supply Chain Concepts (planning, scheduling, execution, quality and warehousing) across the global organization to enable automation and digitization of the operational processes; 2.

Ability to visualize new opportunities using latest industry 4.0 technologies and automation equipment to enable seamless, automated and integrated data flows between internal Kerry systems and external consumption services; 3.

Must have hands on experience with SAP manufacturing modules, configuration in conjunction with SAP ERP (PP-PI, MM, PM, QM, etc.) to support processes related to Order downloading, Routing, Quality, Material/ WIP inventory, Quality etc.; 4.

Experience with SAP in multi-site installations in international companies; 5. Integration with shopfloor applications (e.g. MES) via SAP MII and S95 Messages; 6. Building applications on SAP MII (e.g. SAP OEE, SAP SPC) for multiple manufacturing sites; 7. Integration with MES systems and factory automation layer (including Automation Control Systems, SCADA and Real-time Historians integration); 8.

Technical architecture and installation of technical environments and capability to work with SAP Basis, Security and other teams responsible for server and OS management; 9.

SAP MII/PCo Solution Landscape.

Travel Requirements:
40% travel domestic and international. Travel will be required to perform onsite technology assessments, onsite installation of digital solutions, onsite training of technology solutions.
