Job Summary

The Business Analyst will review business processes in order to gain a complete understanding of current procedures, identify improvements, and document those processes; implement tools to drive operational and financial excellence across the regions and stations. Focus areas include, but are not limited to, executive level reporting, data analysis, financial modeling, and evolving into a subject matter expert who can easily liaise between Finance and Operations. The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated, with strong trouble shooting and analytical skills. This role will report to the Vice-President Operations Planning and will work closely with the Regional Vice Presidents, Station General Managers, and Accounting and Finance.

The Business Analyst ensures they administer practices in a fair and equitable manner, where all employees, customers, vendors and other third parties are treated with respect.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and prepare monthly, quarterly and routine reports and presentations to management.
  • Work closely with Region Vice Presidents and WFS leadership team to design and improve regular (weekly/monthly) reporting and tracking mechanisms.
  • Develop and perform analyses to understand and improve all aspects of the operation.
  • Provide support in formulating and implementing departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output.
  • Facilitate meetings with the direct involvement of stakeholders and gather feedback on requirements, develop effective solutions, and communicate recommendations.
  • Milestone monitoring and control, interfaces, data migration, training.
  • Conduct weekly reviews with stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from 4-year college or university
  • At least 3-5 years related experience
  • Attributes required include: strong business acumen, collaboration skills, customer focus, ability to manage complexity, exceptional communication and accountability
Preferred Skills
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
  • High attention to detail with excellent analytic and research skills.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
  • Remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
  • Walk short distances.
  • Reach above and/or below shoulder.
  • Handle/grasp documents or office equipment.
  • Sit and/or stand for short or extended periods of time.
  • Lift/carry/move objects, files and documents up to 10 pounds.
  • Work in an office environment using standard office equipment.
  • Talk, listen, and speak clearly on telephone.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
