About the Position: This position is located with the US Installation Management Command, US Army Garrison Fort Johnson, Directorate of Emergency Services, Fire Protection & Prevention Division, Fort Johnson, Louisiana.



Duties
  • Investigate new and unusual work and living situations to detect and eliminate fire hazards.
  • Serve as a member of a firefighting force in the event of an emergency in a support role.
  • Conduct periodic and special inspections of principal high to low hazard buildings on post.
  • Conduct presentations and lectures on fire safety and prevention topics throughout the installation.
  • Maintain reports and records concerning the fire prevention program activities.
