Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. The successful candidate will support the direction of the product strategy in partnership with the business and technical teams. The AI Product Manager - GenAI will become a subject manager expert in AI products and will collaborate across lines of business to understand requirements, present solutions, gather feedback, and maintain relationships in an evolving environment. Lead the strategy and development of AIly GenAI Platform.

The Work Itself

  • Understand company's AI architecture and use influencing skills to ensure right digital solutions are being deployed in right order
  • Collaborate with several Matrix partners, including IT and enterprise teams, to prioritize and execute on key strategic digital programs and projects to bring digital roadmap to realization
  • Create, maintain and update detailed project plans that will drive expert schedule, resource and stakeholder management
  • Collaborate closely with data scientist, engineering and architects on overall platform delivery
  • Establish Agile release cadence to ensure value being delivered into business as often as possible
  • Facilitate requirements gathering to ensure solutions will achieve desired business results
  • Anticipate potential scope issues and proactively address internally and with stakeholders
  • Aggressively pursue project excellence to deliver commitments on time and with high level of attention to detail and bottom-line focus
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risk, and expeditiously resolve project issues
  • Lead, motivate, and develop project analysts, including succession planning
  • Encourage and facilitate strong project communication with your team using collaboration tools, in person meetings, and "management by walking around"
  • Develop and maintain updates/reporting to senior leaders to create consistent transparency to digital roadmap and impacts
  • Support regular project update deliverables for executive presentations
  • Develop trusted relationships with your stakeholders - listen actively to their concerns/questions to understand their requests/perspectives
  • Develop and maintain process and procedure documentation
  • Engage in and fully support a culture of Diversity and Inclusion

The Skills You Bring

  • 5+ years managing simple to complex digital projects as a Product Owner or Product Manager at an enterprise level
  • 5+ years working with stakeholders on gathering requirements, prioritizing requests, and collaborating with partners to achieve goals and deliver results in an Agile environment
  • 3+ years managing a team of direct reports
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management or related discipline; master's preferred
  • Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management software (JIRA)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or Certified Scrum Master (Agile) or equivalent
  • Experience supporting business units to develop AI Strategies for product is preferred
  • Experience communicating and presenting information
  • Experience in consumer financing industry (auto, mortgage, etc.) and with the supply chain process
  • Experience identifying, assessing, and managing risk
  • Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure, ability to achieve balance between the right technical and business solution, ability to translate complex technical information into simple terms, commitment to quality, thorough approach, and pride in what we deliver
  • Passion for creating leading edge solutions to complex business problems, appetite for career advancement through expanded responsibility, desire to learn new things and work on different teams, interest in solving the puzzle (intellectual curiosity), objective thinking and perspective (courage of our convictions)
