Role Overview:


The Product Developer will work closely with the Product Director and Design Team to develop our product assortment through a factory matrix in China and Cambodia.

They will communicate with factories, ensuring clear communication from initial concept through item creation and ensure that objectives are met.

This role also requires the ability to manage multiple factory sourcing projects simultaneously, with tight timelines.
Travel will be minimal, limited to shows that the whole team attends.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Product Director and Design Team to build product assortment through factory matrix in China and Cambodia.
Assist with factory sourcing and re-sourcing efforts.
Manage multiple factory sourcing projects concurrently within development timelines.
Support cost-saving efforts to meet margin requirements.
Work with factories to ensure timelines are met for sample creation and costing completion.
Collaborate with factories and Packaging Designer to ensure correct packaging standards and dyeline fit accuracy.
Coordinate with US Compliance Officer and 3rd party agencies to ensure US regulations align with each product being developed.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in related roles, preferably in the consumer goods industry.
Luggage, handbag, and accessories cut and sew experience preferred.
Understanding of retail math + product costing.
Proficient in Microsoft office suite specifically excel.
Experience in working with factories overseas.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Understanding of manufacturing processes and product development cycles.
Able to juggle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Able to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and stay organized is crucial for success in this role.
