About the Role:
- Join a dynamic team of three pediatric surgeons in a rapidly growing tertiary/quaternary Children's Hospital.
- Work in a highfunctioning environment, contributing to patient care in pediatric acute floors, PICU, and a level IV NICU.
- Ideal candidates should possess ECMO experience, along with experience or training at a pediatric trauma center.
- Both new graduates and experienced pediatric surgeons are encouraged to apply.

- Ochsner Children's Hospital boasts a team of over 230 pediatric physicians, making it the leading integrated provider of multispecialty care for infants, children, adolescents and young adults in the region.
- We offer a comprehensive range of pediatric services, including bone marrow transplantation, solid organ transplantation, pediatric cardiovascular surgery and a multidisciplinary developmental center.
- Our facilities include a 54bed level IV neonatal intensive care unit, a 14bed PICU, a 12bed pediatric CVICU, a 44bed pediatric acute unit, a pediatric emergency room and dedicated inhouse pediatric and neonatal transport teams.
- In December 2023 Ochsner announced the building of a new separate, comprehensive, dedicated children's hospital on our main health sciences campus, with expected opening in 2027. This with further amplify our ability to function as a wide regional quaternary care destination center for children' across the Gulf South and the central US.
