MercyOne is currently seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine Physician to join one Physician and two Nurse Practitioners in Elkader, Iowa.

This is a new position for the clinics and will support the growing community. The community has loyal and longtime patients with the potential to expand and serve even more in the area.

MercyOne providers and staff are dedicated to offering quality health care services and for you and your family. We offer a wide range of care for patients from newborns to senior citizens. We provide effective treatment for sudden illness, minor injuries, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, management of chronic disease and education.

Highlights:

  • 36 Patient contact hours shared between Elkader and Monona clinics
  • Paid Hospital (ED/Inpatient) night call 1-2x/Month
  • 15-20 Patients Daily

  • Lab & X-ray This is an exciting opportunity for the right Family Medicine physician to join a busy and thriving practice within MercyOne Elkader.

    RECRUITMENT PACKAGE

    MercyOne offers an excellent compensation and benefit package for our hospital employed physicians including:

    • Sign-on Bonus
    • NHSC/PSLF Eligible site
    • Base Salary with non-productive and productive bonus incentives
    • $3,000 CME Annual Dollars

    • 403B and 457B retirement plans ABOUT THE FACILITY MercyOne Elkader Medical Center is a 25-bed critical access hospital, which provides a vital lifesaving link to rural communities in Clayton County and surrounding areas through ambulance and emergency services.
