DCSA's Program Executive Office (PEO) is looking for an Information Technology (IT) Specialist to serve as a Product Manager for the Biometrics Program. The Product Manager will lead a team of software developers, including contractors, while managing the cost, performance and schedule of development and operational activities. Responsible in providing strategic planning, budget planning and execution, resource management and information security management functions.

As a IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN) you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Oversees development activities of contractors and establishes and enforces DoD policy and standards and security principles to ensure quality and integrity of delivered products according to scope, cost and schedule.
• Applies IT planning and policy knowledge to requirements gathering, planning, implementing, and communicating complex technical ideas of biometric projects and processes effectively to customers, technical personnel, management and senior leadership.
• Leverage project management best practices and methodologies to support providing project oversight, requirements management, stakeholder engagement and business management.
• Extensive knowledge of software development and new applications of IT, emerging technologies, and how those applications may be applied to the agency biometric mission and business processes.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in the field of IT. Identify opportunities for process improvement, innovation, and efficiency gains to enhance the overall effectiveness of IT operations within the Biometric Program.
