Job Summary
The Apartment Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the daily operations of apartment complexes and ensuring the comfort, safety, and satisfaction of our tenants. This position requires excellent customer service and communication skills, as well as strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate is able to juggle multiple tasks and resolve issues with minimal supervision. The Apartment Assistant Manager reports to the Apartment Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

Commute to other apartment building 2 miles away Manage tenant accounts, including rent collection and lease renewals within AppFolio property database system Respond to tenant inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner Maintain property rentals by advertising and filling vacancies, negotiating and enforcing leases, and maintaining and securing premises Maintain accurate records of all rental units, including occupancy and rental ratesConduct regular inspections of the property to ensure all safety and maintenance standards are metPrepare weekly status reports and provide updates Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends. Establish and enforce property rules and regulations Assist in the recruitment and training of new staff members Surveying local rental rates Develop paperless process Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishmentsRequirements and Qualifications

Associates degree in business, real estate, or related field Previous 2 years of experience in property management preferred Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills Able to multitask and problem solve efficiency Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations Extremely Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software AppFolio Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
